Dendrobium discolor

Dendrobium discolor là một loài lan trong chi Lan hoàng thảo. Nó được biết với tên Golden Orchid, nhưng tên của nó cũng được gọi thay thế bằng Cephalanthera falcata

Đầy là loài hoa lan Dendrobium lớn nhẩt châu Úc, nó có 3 giống với một biến đổi cực lớn về màu sắc và kích thước, thân hình trụ được bẹ lá bao bọc. Hoa nở vào bất kỳ thời điểm nào trong năm nhưng nhiều nhất là vào mùa xuân, phát hoa phát sinh từ một nách lá cong dài đến 80cm, trên đó có từ 10 đến 20 hoa, hoa có mùi thơm. Cây chủ yếu ở QueensLand Oustralia và New Guinea, cây  phát triển trong vùng khí hậu nóng. Cây có một chất sinh học giúp chúng sống trực tiếp trên đá hoặc đá trần, trực tiếp trên bờ biển trong rừng ngập mặn hay sau các cồn cát hay trên vách đá và mặt đá ở độ cao 550m nơi mà nước biển có thể đưa muối lên.

The largest of the Australian Dendrobium, it has 3 varieties with 1 being extremely variable in size and color, with few to numerous, cylindrical stems that are leafy in the upper two thirds and carries distichous, ovate to elliptic, leathery, obtleaves that can bloom at any time of the year, with the maximum occuring in the spring on an axillary, arched, to 2' [to 60 cm] long, densely 10 to 80, fraflowered raceme arising from the upper portion of an old cane as the new growth arises, which is found in Queensland Australia and New Guinea and grows warm to hot as an epiphyte, as well as a lithophyte, directly on the coast in mangroves or behind dunes, where they can have salt spray as well as on cliffs and rock faces up to an altitude of 550 meters.

They receive ample water from spring until autumn and then need a distinct dryer rest in pots and some mistings if mounted with exposed roots, but in either case never allow the plant to dry out completely. This plant if not blooming needs more light. In nature it always grows in exposed high light conditions.
