Dendrobium denudans

Dendrobium denudans là một loài thực vật có hoa trong họ Lan. Loài này được D.Don mô tả khoa học đầu tiên năm 1825.

TÌm thấy ở phía tây dãy  Himalayas, Assam Ấn Độ, phía đông dãy Himalayas, Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal và Thái Lan với một kích thước nhỏ, phát triển trong vùng khí hậu ấm đến lạnh, sống phụ sinh trên thân cây hoặc các khu rừng đã bị chặt, chúng có thể sống trên đá hoặc đá trần ở độ cao từ 800 đến 2.200m so với mực nước biển. Với thân cây hình trụ có màu vàng, được bao bởi lớp vỏ hình phễu, mang lá mỏng. Hoa nở cuối mùa hè, buỗng thõng dài từ 10 đến 15cm mang từ 10 đến 15 bông, phát hoa phát sinh từ các đốt gần đỉnh.

Found in the western Himalayas, Assam India, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal and Thailand as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte at the base of trees or in deforested areas as a lithophyte at elevations of 800 to 2200 meters with cylindrical, yellow stems covered by loose, funnel-shaped sheaths carrying thin-textured, lanceolate or oblong leaves that blooms in the late summer through fall on a pendant, 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long, 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the cane carrying spidery flowers.

This species requires a distinct dry rest from water and fertilizer through the winter months and should be resumed with the onof new growth in the spring.
