Dendrobium cochliodes

Dendrobium cochliodes là một loài thực vật có hoa trong họ Lan. Loài này được Schltr. mô tả khoa học đầu tiên năm 1912.

Được tìm thấy ở Papua và New Guinea, ở Irian Jaya ở độ cao từ 400 đến 1.600m so với mực nước biển trong các khu rừng sương mù, trên cành cây cao của các cây đơn độc gần với nước, với một kích thước lớn, sống phụ sinh phát triển trong vùng khí hậu nóng tới mát mẻ, thân cây thẳng đứng mang từ 4 đến 6 cặp lá đối nhau. Hoa nở vào mùa xuân và mùa hè, một phát hoa dài từ 20 đến 35cm mang từ 6 đến 30 bông.

Found in Papua and New Guinea and Irian Jaya at elevations of 400 to 1600 meters in mist forests on high branches of solitary exposed trees near water as a large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect, sturdy stems carrying 4 to 6, oblong to elliptic, 2 ranked leaves clustered towards the apex and blooms in the spring, summer and fall on an axillary, erect to arching, 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, several to many [6 to 30] flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the cane.
